has concerns about how warm it's been in lately. The mercury hit 20 degrees Celsius on Friday as the final weeks of winter wind down into spring. That left Abbie on alert, with the radio star posting to Instagram on Friday to share her concerns. 'It's really f***ing scary how warm it is right now,' she captioned one post which showed her out in the sunshine. She added in a second post: 'If anyone has any positive climate thoughts I would love that, because I've been in a state of panic for months'. The average temperature in Sydney in August is around 14 degrees but can rise as high as 17 degrees Celsius. The former Bachelor star is known to be vocal on environmental issues and climate change. During the NSW election earlier this year, she urged her fans to 'vote for change' on climate action. 'New South Wales! Vote Today! Vote for change! Use your preferences. Do not just Vote 1,' she captioned a photo of herself attending the election. 'Climate action, rental crisis assistance, First Nations rights, LGBTQIA+ rights and so much more is at stake! As a comment says: kick the Liberals out!' Abbie recently revealed in July that she has been at a retreat in Thailand to recover from her addiction issues. The podcast host, 28, recorded a message for her It's A Lot listeners explaining she was taking the week off from work to re-prioritise her commitments. In an emotional voice recording, the radio host revealed she has a 'genuine addiction to work' and was suffering from serious burnout because of it. 'I've been absolutely depleted and burnt out by the start of this year for a number of reasons,' she said. 'But I've been here for about five days and I think I've realised that my priorities need to shift a bit, to be honest, I've taken on so many jobs and so many roles.'
