Rotorua liquor store worker threatened by armed robber

A liquor store in Rotorua has been robbed for cash. The robbery happened about 9pm on Friday on Ngongotaha Rd, a police spokeswoman said. A person armed with a weapon threatened the shop keeper before taking cash. It is not known what the weapon was. Police are still working to locate the person.
