There is a warning a vast area of ice in Antarctica could be about to break off sending global sea levels higher as climate change threatens the animals of the continent. Leader of British research base Rothera station, Mike Brian said as I look to the coastline its a very clear picture that the ice coast is melting back on an annual basis. There are areas where it has melted by a kilometre in the last 30 years," he said.
