Liberal Senator Jim Molan says "regardless of whether you believe in [climate change] or not... it does nothing to assist us in the fire emergency nor in the rebuild". Mr Molan said he was 'annoyed' by the discussion involving the "fundamentally political" topic. On Sunday, Labor Leader Anthony Albanese told Sky News the emissions reduction target from last years election was a mistake and the partys new goal will be as ambitious as possible.
