Scott Morrison has vowed to dedicate as much as it takes to his bushfire response funding while again defending his governments response to climate change. Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, the government announced it would allocate $50 million of the $2 billion bushfire recovery funding to assist charities, and would provide immediate support to local communities. When asked, Mr Morrison said he was open to considering further funding on hazard reduction in its climate change policy.
