New analysis is warning the cost of climate change is set to cause more damage to the economy by 2070 than the coronavirus pandemic. Deloitte Access Economics modelling found the crisis could cost 900,000 jobs and $3.4 trillion if left unchecked. The group claimed a net zero emissions policy would cost significantly less and create a quarter of a million jobs.
