Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek says the last time the Greens voted with the Liberals against Labors emissions reduction target, we saw years of inaction and continued increase in carbon pollution. The Albanese government is expected to table its climate bill in the first week of parliament to legislate its 43 per cent emissions reduction target. Greens Leader Adam Bandt has indicated his party would be open to backing the target, but the government had to do better. Theyve got a decision to make, Ms Plibersek told Sky News Australia.
