The results of eight studies from James Cook University (JCU) on the impact of climate change on coral reef fishes were tested and found to be 100 per cent wrong. The JCU Coral Reef Centre told North Queensland farmers their actions were killing the reefs before legislation was passed in December to "restrict what farmers can do in terms of pesticides and fertilisers. We are told to trust science but the problem is with the institutions, Professor Ridd told Sky News.
