"And the number one way that we've made safe is through fossil-fuelled development," he told Sky News host Rita Panahi. It comes as US President Joe Biden has declared a "code red" on climate change, saying the world is in "peril". According to Mr Epstein, the US President is "totally backward" in his analysis of the climate. "We actually haven't taken a naturally safe climate and made it dangerous," Mr Epstein said.
