Opposition leader Anthony Albanese has kicked off a week-long tour of Queensland joined by Kevin Rudd in Brisbane. The Labor leader toured the South Bank Markets with current and former members for Griffith. Mr Albanese slammed the government's lack of action on climate change saying Australia was falling behind the rest of the world. The COVID-19 response was also front of mind, with the opposition leader backing Labor Premier Annatastacia Palaszczuk's hard border stance, saying the government hadn't criticised any Liberal Premier's border closures.
