Californians welcomed a wave of cooler weather over the Labor Day weekend following weeks of intense heat and bushfires. Locals are divided on the cause of the extreme temperatures with some attributing it to human induced climate change, while others claimed only natural processes were at work. While Californias record-breaking heat was not identified as the cause of 2020s wildfires, it does make them more difficult to control with more land burnt this fire season than ever before.
