Former Liberal Senator Cory Bernardi says none of the portents of doom have come true surrounding climate change, which is good news for US President Donald Trump in the upcoming election. US President Donald Trump had called on world leaders to "reject" the "perennial prophets of doom" and their "predictions of the apocalypse" at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. President Trump rejected calls for urgent action on climate change but insisted he wants "clean" air and water, encouraging the world to instead embrace "optimism". The bureaucrats have all drank the climate Kool-Aid, Mr Bernardi told Sky News host Peta Credlin. Mr Bernardi also said young climate activists have waged a "battle against freedom ... [and] western culture and values". "Trump is calling them all out ... and that's why he is going to win really well this year." Image: Getty Read More Our Apps
