Professor Tim Naish Talks Paris Climate Change Conference
Prince Charles has weighed in to the terrorism debates, saying climate change is in-part to blame for the increase in terror-related incidents. He said a drought in Syria that lasted for five to six years forced masses of the population to leave, and only recently the Pentagon has started to pay attention to the links between climate change and terror attacks. Prince Charles made those comments ahead of the United Nation's conference on climate change in Paris that will see 190 countries come together to try, once again, to tackle climate change. The talks begin on Monday and have a clear goal: to achieve a legally binding and universal agreement on climate, with the aim of keeping global warming below 2degC. Paleo-climatologist Professor Tim Naish joined Newsworthy live from Wellington to talk about the upcoming conference. Watch the video for the full interview.
