The state Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) said on Tuesday that it arrested some suspects for vandalising the store belonging to a firm named Agro Climate Resilience in Seme-Arid Landscape (ACRESAL), located at Mayanka, along Yola Road, Adamawa State. "The Adamawa State Command of the NSCDC, under the leadership of Commandant Ibrahim Mainasara, acting on credible intelligence, conducted a successful operation resulting in the arrest of the two individuals," the command said in the statement signed by command PRO, Dimas Bille. The arrested suspects were identified as Ibrahim Abdullahi and Yusuf Muhammed. The command, however, added that the NSCDC is still pursuing three other suspects, namely Sheu Abdullahi, Abbas Muhammed, and Jawad Balah, who are currently at large. The NSCDC listed items unlawfully taken from the ACRESAL store by the suspects as 20 water pumps, two knapsacks, 38 agri-force chemicals, four rolls of delivery hose, and six rolls of suction hose. "The NSCDC, Adamawa State Command, wishes to assure the public that every effort is being made to apprehend the remaining suspects and recover the stolen items," the command said.
