Chris Kenny has called out a climate change activists fantasies as the Sky News host argues the fanciful magic pudding economics surrounding renewables are not based on facts or cost-benefit analysis. Louisiana Senator John Kennedy questioned Olympic skier Gus Schumacher after the 23-year-old was invited to a Senate Budget Committee to address the impact of climate change on the environment and recreational activities. The Senator asked the American cross-country skier what carbon dioxide is and how much it would cost to go carbon neutral, with Schumacher later admitting he didnt know the answers to his questions. In the information age, we have got so many people on the big issues who prefer their feelings over facts, who prefer ideology over practicality, Mr Kenny said.
