A motorbike-riding police officer has been injured in a crash in the Wellington suburb of Newtown. The crash, involving a car and a police officer, happened at the roundabout on the corner of Mansfield St and Russell Tce shortly after 3pm on Sunday, police said. The officer was moderately-injured.
