Candidates' climate change debate taking place online
New Plymouths electoral candidates will take part in a climate change debate, and while theyll still be head to head, they will be addressing each other via video conference. The debate will take place at 7pm on Tuesday, September 29 and is co-sponsored by Climate Change and Consciousness Taranaki (CCCT) and Climate Justice Taranaki. Candidates who have confirmed are Glen Bennett for the Labour Party, Elliot Blyth for the Green Party, Dan Thurston Crow for TOP, Rusty Kane (Independent), Kath Lauderdale for the Social Credit Party, Vernon Tava for the Sustainability Party and Ada Xiao for ACT.
