The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has announced the food industry contributes about a third of human greenhouse gas emissions. In a new report on the changing climate, the IPCC recommended a change in diet to help limit the impact of climate change. The panel said eating less meat could help reduce carbon emissions.
